The chicken is always crisp and moist and the corn fritter are absolutely the best in the state. The staff are always friendly, quick and accurate with our orders. The coleslaw is good but the mashed potatoes are just average. This has been our family go to for decades!
I e been enjoying White Fence Farm chicken for 45 years. Usually at the Restaurant in Romeoville IL, but my daughter moved to downers Grove recently and I stopped in This location is only take outs. Your chicken is made at the time of order so there will be a short wait for freshness. It's well worth it coke slaw and kidney beans with amazing corn fritters. Family thinks restaurant is a touch better but takeouts in Downers Grove is a great option
Food was good and the Togo order was ready on time. The dough stixs hardly had any powder sugar n them so we tossed them. Other than that it was good.
I appreciate having a WFF takeout location closer than the main Romeoville location. Service here was very friendly. The food is exactly like the food at their other locations, so thumbs up for consistency. Their chicken is among my favorite because it resembles the way my mom and grandma used to make it. They fry it and give it to you so it's not sitting on a warming rack like a lot of other places do, so even though I had about a 30 minute drive home it was still warm and crispy.
Love this place. Can't go wrong with the chicken or shrimp dinner. Fresh, delicious, and oh so indulgent!
The chicken is outstanding and the corn fritters are a great sweet desert. They offer two kinds of cold slaw. My tip is beware, they now charge a service few when using a credit card!
